Welcome to the forum and I hope you enjoy your stay.
I was just having a look at your QRZ entry, and I can honestly say I agree/echo all of it, especially the phrase:

Normally my imagination has to fill in the gaps when the propagation changes just as the other station is telling me their name, QTH, and every other piece of useful info!
