Good time to be off the grid when a cyclone hits. We had power and nobody else did. Glad I'm not on the grid now. The only comunication with the other islands was through Ham radio. How cool was that. Helped a lot to know what each island got for wind when tracking the storm. Still hit us full on. The big radio tower on top the mountain collapsed. Must have been whistling up there.
