Greetings all :D

I thought that I had a lot of radio equipment around the place, until I came across this guys collection.

Keep an eye open for the "trapdoor above the loo into some previously wasted space". :(

Hi hi, my XYL refers to all my Amateur Radio equipment as 'junk'!

"Oh no, not more junk", "Where do you think that junk is going?", "I just tripped over your stupid junk!" etc.

Another thing I liked about his stash of radio components was the trap door by the front door! I've heard of 'underground radio' (groan), but that's ridiculous :D

Secretly I'm just jealous!

I`ve expected same reactions from my XYL and even more worst negative behavior to my purchases for this finances demanding hobby. After three decades of marriage, I discovered her real character and was really impressed. After each spendings on expensive equipment, she said only one thing: "let it be for your good health" and no one word of blame or criticism.
I`m jealous to my self :)
Regards and best 73!
Dov.

You're very lucky Dov.

When I buy any new equipment my XYL just sighs and says, "Oh no, not more junk! What's wrong with the one you already have?"

Actually, what she really says is a lot more 'colourful' ;)

Wowzer, those are some neat old rigs.

Oh and my Mrs is hip to radio gear. Well, probably because I don't have too many yet and her father has always been into the hobby. :)

Is it REALLY possible to have too many radios?

I don't believe it is ;)
