Hi All,

I found a forum where I won't get harassed by old timers who are 5 years older than I am. How comforting! I'm recently retired from the military. I'm finally starting what I had dreamed of doing as a child. I will be sitting all three tests the first week of next month and then onward to hands on and figuring how to set up an antenna on my boat.

Welcome to our humble group.

I see no reason why anyone should harass you, and if they do then the Admin will be having a 'quiet word' with them!

This site is for 'real' Radio Amateurs, who still remember what the spirit of Amateur Radio is all about.

You say, "finally starting what I had dreamed of doing as a child". Would that be becoming a Ham, or retiring
